About

I made espressoinsight.com for fun in 2015 to learn how to “make a website”.

In 2015, I took the hardest yet most rewarding course of my college career: Organic Chemistry.

What started as a critical pre-requisite for medical school turned into a mentally stimulating favorite class throughout college.

Shortly after completing the course, while others balked at the idea of enjoying organic chemistry, I was exhilarated by the immense amount of information of which my brain had been filled over the preceding semester.

Consumed with the material, there were nights where I saw chemical structures in my dreams.

The fact that you find organic chem fascinating is not to say it was by any means easy. It was a lot of work, but throughout it all, the process always felt worthwhile.

I needed a way to document the tactics and strategies that helped me get an A in Organic Chemistry.

With literally hundreds of pages of notes and solutions to problems from the textbook, the core strategy for success ended up being pretty simple.

I set out to compile what I learned in the process. On a late night after finals before winter holiday, with a cup of coffee in hand, this website, and my first blog post, was born.

Nearly a decade later, it survives passion-project aimed a sharing insights on diverse topics in which I have attained an interest.

These posts have expanded beyond the simple “how to succeed in college” to include discoveries in biotech, space travel, and artificial intelligence, as well as general wisdom on business, technology, careers, and more.

Blogging is a really great creative outlet to improve writing and expressing ideas through language. Running a website can be rewarding and fun.

In some cases, posts from this website have been shared with emerging / futuristic tech focused Facebook Groups and Reddit Communities such as r/space, r/nasa, r/starlink, r/longevity, and others.

The comments and replies to those posts provide valuable feedback which helps improve my content and writing.

Nothing on this website is business, financial, or legal advice… in fact, it should not be taken as advice of any kind! At most, this is a compilation of my own ideas and “notes to self” that I have published so that I may remember, and occasionally refer to. Do your own research and please fact check all statements. Many of the statements are outdated or just plain wrong, and the writers here are not professionals nor are they experts. Again, the blog posts are for entertainment purposes only.
